1896 Krag carbine rear sight - reproduction?

Hi, new member here

I have been looking for a krag carbine rear sight for some time now. I think I found one on ebay, (auction no 250863597983) but I am suspicious of it being a repro because the bid is so low. I have seen these sell for $400 or more in the past and I am wondering if anyone knows of any fake or repro Krag sights? It would make sense for repros to exist because of how rare original specimens seem to be. I'm sorry if this is a stupid quesiton, I just don't want to be ripped off.

Gunparts lists Krag rear sights as sold out, but they ask $139.30 for 'em when they have 'em. Same rear sight on either the rifle or carbine.
