In cleaning the cylinder bore of my 20ga Winchester 1300, I noticed a "dimple" right under the bead (dimple on the inside of the bore). Couldn't tell if it was part of the design...if it is, wouldn't that mess up the slugs and shot cups as they come out?

It's not just yours,Oleg, there's plenty like it out there. When they do the hole for the sight, sometimes it dimples the mestal underneath, sometimes it comes through. No damage, other than esthetically, and effect on slugs and wads is unknown but minor.
