CCW status and teaching jobs

Hey guys, a question has been posed to me that I admit I have no answer for. I was asked if having a CCW would interfere with getting a teaching job (specifically with younger kids). Obviously this person would not be carrying at school (it's a CEZ in Michigan). Obviously a background check will be performed on the person (not sure if CCW status would show up here, either way the school would probably find out). Not to bash or condone any political party, but we all know where the Teacher's Union and jumpy school administrators may stand on gun ownership. But the question is whether anyone has some stories or insight into whether or not this might interfere.

Also, to wash my hands, let's not see this thread disintegrate into a political █████storm
