Are Blackthorne uppers any good? I am building yet another AR and the only uppers I can find is a Blackthorne, but I know nothing about them. Any good?

I've heard about 95% bad. It's probably about time for them to change their name again.

Damn, glad I asked. They seemed like a good deal, glad I didn't just order one.

I got one here a customer sent me to use in a build for him. I put 100 rounds down range and it ran fine.

a friend has one that a dirty gun shop owner put together on a DPMS lower and sold it as an AP4....

it didn't run until he pulled it apart to see that the gas key was almost off the carrier...
