Hirtenberger 7.62 Austrian Ammunition

I just bought 2x 240 packs, Midway has a good special. Anyone have any experience with it. I plan on running it through my Polytech M14.

Prefect ammo for the Poly.

It's milspec 7.62 NATO ball made by Austrians.

It's good stuff and should run great in that Oriental M14!

Just remember... if it is boxer primed, the flash holes tend to be small... as in yank your de-priming pin out small.

I haven't used their rifle ammo, but I had excellent results with their pistol ammo.

In the late 1990s, it was $35 per ~200rnd battlepack.

Very nice NATO cross stuff. Ran though a G3 and FAL quite well.

I don't think that the ammo is very accurate...though it could me me or the rifle; while shooting it out of my French MAS 49/56.
