Shield in 40
Anyone these regularly? I’ve read some threads of them going kaboom just wondering if it was just a bad batch or certain serial number.

I hope there isn't a problem with them, if there is I haven't heard of it.
I plan on getting one to convert to .357Sig. |

I hope I have the same experience. Can I ask what serial number range yours is and a possible round count?

I carry mine daily.
The only problem I had with it was that I needed an Apex Duty/Carry kit in it to make it so that I could shoot it more accurately. |

I have the Shield in 9mm with close to 3000 rounds through it without any issues.

.40
I have a PC version. Run just short of 600 rounds of my hand loads through it. It has been fine. The recoil is a little stout even with the built in compensation. The non comp 45 and the 40 pc version feel very close recoil wise.

I have a Shield in 40. I put a Hogue grip sleeve on it as it tended to slip around in my hand during recoil. Problem solved. I like mine.
