AR-15 Side Charging Upper

My last post was for suggestions on what type of AR to build next.
Good thread and told me basically what I already knew but got me think outside the box a little.
I am thinking of building a side charging 5.56 with a 14.5 inch barrel with a pinned and welded linear muzzle brake which will put me out past 16 inches on barrel length.
These look like a fun variant with some cool benefits.
Anyone own one, ever build one or simply what is your take of a side charging AR?
