IMR SR 4756 powder for revolver loads?

Have any of you loaded SR 4756 for 38/357 cases?

If so, would you tell me what you thought of it.
The load data that I saw stated that it is very clean and they had loads for the 140 grain Hornaday XTP rated from 750 FPS to 13,000 FPS. That seems like quite a change to me.

Any opinions?

DOH!
774 feet per second (38 special) to 1307 feet per second (357 Mag)
My brain saw feet per second...my fingers saw pressure
Thats what I get for posting that late at night.

But if any of you have opinions I would like to hear them.

Thanks

4756 is a nice, clean burning powder. I bought it as a replacement for HS-6. I use it in .357 loads with 158 grain FP plated bullets. It does seem to be a bit position sensitive, more so than HS-6, but at the upper end of the charge range that disappears.
What I like most is no unburned kernels of powder to get under the extractor star.
Make sure you are using modern data.

SR 4756 is one of my all-time favorite powders. I've burned several 12 and 16 pound kegs over the years in shotshells and pistol/revolver loads. It burns clean, it's predictable, easy metering, and smells good too! Alas, the new data has been lawyerproofed and isn't as heavy as the data from the 70s and 80s.
WW 357 brass, CCI 500, RCBS 38-150-SWC sized .358", 9.3 grains max from DuPont Reloaders guide circa 1980. WORK UP!!!!!!!!

I used to load 9.0 in the same brass for my M19 S&W 4 inch with the Speer 140 grain HP-- NOT the 146 grain half jacket bullet!! WORK UP FROM 1 FULL GRAIN LOWER!!
