Ruger P94/95 Mags?
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source for P4/95 9mm magazines. Not really interested in the 10 rounders, but I could use some higher cap ones for the range. Got a good deal on the gun but no mags! I heard bad things about pro mag, so I am mainly looking for Ruger factory or Mec Gar. Thanks. ___________ |

Anything wrong with Midway? $4 off until the end of the month. They've got the Mecgars too.

Mec-gar makes great mags. I have 3 for my P95dc. CTD has them but I'm not sure if it's the best price out there or not.

Just an FYI, in the days of magazine capacity restrictions many of us found that a 10-rnd .40 mag for the P944 would hold 15rnds of 9mm and function fine in the P94. I didn't even have to do any feed lip tweaking on mine.

I prefer the Mec-Gars. The Ruger factory mags are decent, but the Mec-Gars are polished better internally. They function more smoothly for me.

The other thing about ruger vs mec-gar mags is, as far as I know, ruger only makes 10 and 15 round flush mags while mec-gar goes up to 17 round flush and 20 extended. I haven't tried the 20's but I might get some down the road. I don't shoot my P95 much since I got my glock but I like it too much and it isn't worth enough to sell.
