I would use the H2, but you should ck over in AR15.com
They have a section just for AR Variants. DBAR |

Start with the carbine and see where it ejects. You want it right at 3:00 - 4:00. Can't say what you'll need with any certainty without knowing gas port size, load power, barrel specs, etc.
http://68forums.com/forums/index.php edit: Er, I guess for a lefty it'd be 8:00 to 9:00. Last edited by zoomie; May 16, 2009 at 04:20 PM. |

Zoomie's right.
See where its ejecting, and also make sure its cycling fine. As someone who initially put an H2 in mine and had a lot of cycling issues, the heavy buffer in a new AR will cause some ejections and feeding probs until its broken in. Start with the std buffer, and you can move up if you want. Are you looking to minimize recoil?

Ignore my first post for the time being.
What length barrel are you going to use, and what length gas system are going with. If your going with a 16" barrel with a carbine length gas system, then I'd recommend the H2. If your going with any other configuration then post it here, and I'll ck back after a while to see what you've posted. DBAR |
