O.K. black powder shooter are you

going to be going to Friendship IN this coming week ????
We will have from Sat 09-12 till Sat 9-19 a wild and crazy shoot.
Shotguns--pistols -- off hand rifles--bench rifles- heavy bench rifles- chickens, bear, crows Oh my. We shoot from 25 yards out to 8oo yards. I would say since the June shoot was one of the biggest shoots ever, this one coming up should be just about as big. This is one that every one should go to at least once in their lives. Live firing starts about 7 AM and is over about 5 PM or so, except for the shotgun range which doesn't stop until about 10 PM or so. We also have blanket sales along with comercial row sales. I didn't forget to tell you one of the biggest flee markets in this part of the country.
Come try you luck on the range- no mater if you ever pick up a smoke pole before or not. We will teach you if need be. Tues. night we will be having a dinner in the education center and afterwards an action will be held. I hope to see all of you there.... have fun

I envy all of you who are going to Friendship. I haven't been there in a long time.

My last trip to Friendship was in 1978, loved every minute of it except the drive up and back, 600+ miles and all the present day Interstates did not exist back in 1948. Seriously, if you are a shooting enthusiast esp, BP you simply must see a shoot at Friendship some time. Well worth the time and expense.
