Suppressing an M82A1

Does anyone know what, if any, modifications can be made to an M82A1 that will make it safe to suppress the rifle without damaging it?

Barrett had planned to release a suppressor kit for the M82A1 but that idea seems to have been scrapped.

I know this will void my warranty.
