Rare WW2 German double Barrel Flare Gun

Got this flare gun. My grandfather brought it back from Europe in 1945. What exactly is it, and what is it worth? The family has NO attachment to it and we will sell it. (My grandfather was not attached to it. We have other stuff we will never sell)

Flieger Leuchlpostole ( Aviators Flare Gun ), Yours looks to be made by Wallther and in excellent condition. . Very desirable in certain circles and will go from 500 to 800 , if you can find the right buyer.

If you google " Walther double barrel flare guns " or just " Double barrel flare guns " you will find your identical gun.
