Tactical Rifle Competition
Our Local PPL is looking to expand to carbines. Regs allow for standard issue so I'm building an A3 "M4" type AR off a DPMS lower. Close work course <30yds. Interested in opinions on uppers. I built a Bushy "carbine" years ago but have since sold. I like the feel of an "M4" type rifle so that's what I'm going for under the regs for the competition.
Thanks for any insight. Eric |

< 30 yards is pistol ranges. It doesn't take much of a rifle to shoot at 30 yards. Just pick what ever is available. Start shooting past 300 yards then quality makes a difference.

Tac rifle
My thoughts exactly but range limitations cap us at 10m for now. New range on the horizon out to 100m.
