Nickel plating
Hey boys, wondering if anyone knew an avenue to get my 1851 navy nickel plated. Thanks in advance.

Nickel plating kit
Caswells sells plating kits that are highly regarded. That said, they are pricey and not something you would like to do one off. Probably not a good option but kinda cool anyway.

Ive never seen those kits before, pretty cool. But yeah I'd rather entrust it to someone who has some prior experience with the process. Thanks guys

I looked into plating here in Hampton Roads, VA
A steel frame remington was about 200.00 to 250.00 and they were going to send it to a shop in California.
I didn't do it because I was afraid it would come back from CA with the barrel plugged by the authorities. Seriously, I didn't do it because it was nto worth the investment.
