Stevens Year of Mfr

J. Stevens A&T Co

Model 325, 12 gauge double (not the later rifle)

SN 135xx

Should date between 1886 and 1915 with that mark. I'm trying to determine if it's a pre-99 antique. Anyone got a resource?

AFAIK there's no way to get a specific date on the early guns.

When Stevens A&T Co. was hauled before Congress in the early 20's for a post WWI Congressional Investigation into war profiteering, Stevens said that all their production records had (ahem) been destroyed in a fire, and so couldn't be produced for inspection.......................
