Browning Citori firing pin
While shooting skeet, I had a couple of FTF's when shooting the lower barrel of my 6 months old Citori.
Only ever shot factory ammo thru it, most Ferderal 12 gauge (which I've heard has pretty hard primers). After the round, I checked it out and found that the lower firing pin had an indentation in it, as if stamped by a dot punch. Questions: 1. Anyone seen this before? 2. Will Browning send out a firing pin, or do I have to mail the gun in? 3. How much does it cost the mail the butt-end of a shotgun, i.e. is it considered a gun? Thanks a lot, Bowser. |
