RCBS Die's in a Dillon AT500
Hello,
Does anybody know off hand if RCBS Die's (.40 cal) will fit into a Dillon AT500 press? Aren't most die's come with a standard thread? Thanks, Mark |

Dillon AT500 and RL550b both accept dies using the standard thread pattern so those RCBS dies should work fine.

They'll fit, but the Dillon dies have more of a radius at the mouth and make the process easier.
If you haven't bought dies yet, I'd go with the Dillon dies. |

Too late, I already have the die's. I was using them with a Rock Chucker press.
Thanks, Mark |

I have to agre with Bottom Gun. RCBS dies will fit and work. But the Dillion dies will make the whole thing work better.

Are you going to buy the AT500 and then up grade to the 550B later? If so save your money till you can get the 550B it will cost you less.

i like RCBS dies that don't even have the radius at the bottom because your 40 gets a better resize with no or very little radius....depending on what your 40 was shot in -- it could be important for chambering.....Dick
