Wow, Xtreme Bullets must have just had a big price increase . Used to be $43 per 500. Glad I recently got 4K at the old price.

I wouldn't call that a "big" price increase. Slight? Yes, but not big. They are doing their best to keep up, but a lot of their Xtreme bullets go to being used in their manufactured ammo.

OK, it's not that big, just caught me by surprise since I just got my last order at the old price, placed about 4 weeks ago. They've been steadily increasing price for awhile now.

freedom munitions always seems to be dangerously anemic whenever I've used it, seems like you get screwed unless all you do is <15 yard shooting

The new bullets, the XAPs are great rounds. The are a hollow point design with similar performance to Hornady's HAP match line.

On the topic

While we are on the topic of Freedom munitions I bought 500 rounds of the 9mm "Reman" and found a few 380 autos with 9mm bullets stuffed in them. Emailed and said its my wife's Kahr and no way would I let her use these. They traded me for "New" and they looked and shot well. Actually they helped her grouping over WM ammo. Been back several time over the last few months but only new 9mm.
Ya the price is up but I bet they are pulling OT and maybe hired a few folks to help. I don't see it as gouging with all that is going on.

BTW 124 grain still in stock.
