Savage Model 720 info needed

Savage Model 720. Copy of Browning A-5. Semi-Auto.

Serial number is 766XX. Any Ideas of this weapons birthdate? How can I find out if it served proudly in WWII or any other battle?

Thanks
Ned

720's were made from 1930-1949. The SN range for those used in WWII was 65,000 to 86,000

Faked a lot. For more info I suggest you go to GunandKnife Forums. They have a section on Mil Shotguns.
