Purchasing a suppresser
Before I start to spend money on lawyers I got a quick question for this forum. I live/reside in Delaware and I own property in South Carolina. I have a carry permit in both states. It is against the law to (not sure about this) own??,possess or use a suppresser in Delaware. In South Carolina it's OK to own and use a suppresser. Here's the question:
Can I purchase a suppresser in South Carolina going thru a Class III FFL following all the rules and doing all the necessary paper work for the $200 Tax Stamp and just use it there and leave it there? Any thoughts on this? Do I have to establish residence in South Carolina? |

Looks like they are banned in Delaware.

You have to establish residence in SC in order to purchase the suppressor…as mentioned they are illegal in DE.
