Seeking Reloading Teacher near Seattle
I'm in Renton. I'm looking for someone nearby that could show me what they know about reloading. And for that matter, anyone interested in shooting, fishing, hunting as well... Email me if you're nearby. I'm new to Washington and don't know anyone here.

Go to your local gun store and even the big boxes like Cabela's or similar. Many local clubs have information there where you can find folks who share the same interests. That's how I found three clubs here I shoot at when i moved 7 years ago.......

Re-post this to http://Seattleguns.net
You'll get help. If you want to come up to Mt. Vernon (65 miles north on I-5) I'll be happy to show you my bench and talk about reloading. PM me if you're interested. Ken

Are you interested in rifle, pistol and/or shot shell reloading?
Oneounceload mentioned Cabela's, there's a new one in Lacey that's about 50 miles south of you. It's almost a destination location, plenty to see and do there. |

50 MILES, you may have just found a resource for supplies. I believe they let you order off the internet (Sometines best prices) and pick up at the store. Also why you are at the store there will probably be some people looking over the reloading supplies and I bet anyone of them would help you with a few questions and you might even find some one really close by for a few leasons. You may even buy some supplies and then you might go see wilkersk and let him show you how to load a few hundred rounds.

There's a shooting club in Renton, where they are holding the 2010 WA State IDPA Match -
http://northwestsection.org/waidpac10/directions.html I don't know if any of their members are into rifle, but it's close to you. There is a fairly small bunch of rifle cranks at the Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club, which is just south of Tumwater. They hold an "Old Soldier's Shoot" or a CMP match every month, and their are a few Garands that show up. I tend to reload mostly .30-06, and .45 for pistol. Every once in a while some .243 strays in when my wife shoots her rifle... I'm far from a reloading expert, but I'm familiar with .30-06. If you're reloading for an '03 Springfield, it is a little easier than reloading for a Garand, as I understand things. Maybe I could try to answer some questions?
