Nikon Buckmaster vs. Burris Fullfield
In the standard 3-9x40 model, which would you purchase if both were priced equally?

i like my fullfield a lot. i'm not terribly gentle in the field, it's got more than one small dent, and it's performed well in spite. my only complaint is that if you get an unseasonably warm rain, or if you wear some kind of mask in the cold that directs your breath upwards, it doesn't always repel fogging well. that said, i'm not certain any scope does in those circumstances, it's just the only thing that's ever bothered me with it.

A question, I ask because I don't know, but I suspect.........
Is there really any difference between the 199.00 Buckmaster model and the 149.00 Prostaff model other than the Buckmaster name (which you know has to be paid for)? I like my Prostaff, but I'm just asking......... |

I couldn't tell any difference in them when I bought my Prostaff several months ago in Gander Mtn. I really didn't want to spend a whole lot of $ at that time, so I went with the Prostaff. Haven't been disappointed.........

I own both the Buckmaster and Burris. I don't see how a person could go wrong with either one.
