Briley gets married, to a shotgun!?!

how did this all happen. Better yet, why did this all happen!! Seems like a run of the mill Italian shotgun and now Briley is strapped with their success or defeat. Course then, Briley was the brains behind the infamous 'Spreader Choke' LOLOL... :barf:

Briley is just the service center ... so they obviously made Briley a good enough offer on their shop time to make it attractive. Of course ultimately, the mfg pays all the costs anyway ...

but its an interesting article ...

Briley is a good shop ...and I wouldn't hesitate to send one of my guns to them for service if I needed it.

I've been very lucky with all of my Brownings ( Citori O/U's or my BPS models ) ...they've never needed any service I couldn't perform myself ...and some of them are well into the 250,000 shell or more range....at this point / although the oldest is only from the late 1970's .../ many of them are under 15 yrs old....

Briley is the largest OEM choke maker in the world, including having a facility in Italy

The one time I had choke work done by anyone other than Briley, I was very disappointed. When one of my 20-ga Skeet tubes cracked under the extractor cut, they replaced it (custom fit) within a week.
Good people.

I use Briley for most all my equipment. My Benellis have all the regular briley ext chokes (I hope to pick up one or two other ported Compnchokes), forend wieghts, and a few other small things from briley.

A new use for the term, "Shotgun Wedding".....

Briley also is the service center for other shotgun brands. I think Purdey is among them.
