Yes area denial, that's exactly what that system is for.
The metal storm and various automated systems are being considered to replace mines as part of a unified area denial system. |

Rate of Fire? When the ejected rounds form a tightly spaced "necklace" in the air! When I can dump a 30 round mag and the mag is empty before the first round hits the ground! Totally impractical, but fun anyways.

Needs to be fast enough to be smooth but not so fast you can't pull off singles if needed. Probably something around 800. Full size uzi with a 1.25" buffer possibly. I just ordered a 1.4" bufer for my uzi. That should get close to 900 w/ winchester white box.
