300 Ham'r
After reading John Barnsness article in Handloader, getting the parts in to bring to my Gunsmith, who manufactures AR15 and AR10 Lowers. Getting 30-30 performance from 16" will be nice. Will complement the 450 Bushmaster and Grendel.

Have fun... It reportedly performs well on feral hogs, but after taking a look, I decided Bill's pet .30 doesn't offer me anything I don't already have covered.

Sherman, TX. When I lived in LA, I used to go up there with a neighbor in my late teen years. We'd stay at his Grandparents and slay the jackrabbits. Wish they had some hogs back then.

You might want to take a look at ARP's Tac 30 (formerly called 30 HRT but thankfully changed the name)--formed from 6.8 spc brass and out-performs the 30 Ham'r according to ARP (I don't have a 30 Ham'r myself). It is a wildcat but I have one and did lots of work with it and it shoots very well. Forming the brass involves knocking the shoulder back a bit and trimming the case length so there is a bit of a "fiddle factor" but straight-forward once you have your dies set and a "dummy" round on hand as base reference. I use hornady's 30 herret die to reform the brass; I think there might have been a special run on tac 30 dies though I missed out (as I always do).

If I didn’t already have an AR in 7.62x39 I’d probably give this one a go.
