Comfort/Concealability of Shield Original vs 2.0

Probably gonna make one of the above my EDC. Does the more aggressive grip texture on the 2.0 result in any carry issues: Such as skin irritation (I'll carry it cross-draw often under a t-shirt with the grip touching skin) or possibly its "grabbing" a t-shirt resulting in more obvious printing.

I have never cross carried mine or against bare skin but Ii probably depends upon your body/build if it makes an obvious print. Just an opinion hope someone has some better advice and wish I could maybe ill try it and be able to help better!!! Good luck and hope you get some better options or solid advice MrBot!!!

I have Rubber Talon Grips on my original Shield 9mm
If I had a Shield 2.0 I would more than likely put Talon's on it too.
I like the rubber feel.
I would not get the 2.0 strictly for the grip.

Which brings up another question:

Has anyone had extensive experience with both the original and Version 2.0?
If so what's the differences..Pro's & Con's..

I do know the 2.0 is a few ounces lighter than the original.

Stippling a Shield Original or the 2.0:
After that the only difference between original & 2.0 is front serrations on Slide and Trigger.

Through the two reviews above and many many more available, the differences between the original Shield and the 2.0 is NOT night and day.
I'm sure that a lot of it was just a reboot for S&W and a WOW interest.
Minor Serrations on the front of the slide, extra stippling on the grip and a perceived better trigger.

Without actually putting a 2.0 in my Aegis Armory Hybrid holster and carrying it for a day could I know if the extra stippling on the grip matters via carry or not.
But as I said before, I'd probably put a Talon Rubber Grip on it anyway and that would negate the extra stippling and then they both WOULD feel exactly the same to me.

I originally wore my Shield V1.0 IWB at 3 to 4 O'clock.
I found that the Grip / Butt lay snug to my side and I did not feel it moving on my skin very much as I walked. (I'm a big guy)

For awhile I wore my Shield V1.0 OWB and I felt the butt of the grip moving back and forth on my side more.
So I moved it back to IWB and carried it the same as I had for over a year.
As a IWB I forget that my Shield is there....very comfortable.

For someone that is thinner and more straight up and down their OWB & IWB would probably feel different.
