Short reach trigger and reset kit install
This might be old news to most of you. I installed trigger and SRT kit in my p226 today. Only trouble was getting trigger bar in and out of the gun and getting the locking block back in.
Arthritic fingers don't help when doing stuff like that. I saw a youtube video where the guy used a small magnetic stick to position the new sear. Didn't have one, but substituted a screw driver with a magnetic end on it to position the new sear up under the pin. It worked great!! Just thought I would throw it out there. BTW, the difference in the trigger now is amazing. Resets like my 3rd gen S&W pistol. Short fingers? The short reach trigger will help.

SG, I'm a S&W 3rd. Gen. fan too, and have used the SRT in several SIGs. That long trigger reset is about the only gripe I have with the traditional DA/SA SIGs. Wish the SRT had been standard in SIGs since my first P226 back in the '80s.
