ruger p95 mag latch spring
Got a ruger p95 that spits out the magazine when fired and have to replace the spring.
anyone have the details on how to remove the old one and replace it with a new spring ?? |

Nope won't do it! Got the manual and the parts booklet both but neither give instructions beyond how to field strip the gun. The ruger manuals don't even tell proper lubrication points for their pistols like the one for my S&W m910, just to lube the pistol? |

The latch is in two pieces.
Depress the spring from inside the magazine well and remove the right side of the latch. With the spring depressed, remove the left side of the latch. Remove the spring & reassemble in reverse order. I think that's how it's supposed to work...
