Remington 788 barrel

I have a early Remington 788 in .308 winchester. I'm looking for another Remington 788 barrel chamberd in .243 win or .270 win. Near southern michigan. Any one have one looking to sell

I'm not sure you'll be able to put a .270 barrel on there. .270 is a long-action caliber whereas .308 is a short action. Are you sure your 788 is a long action? I know that some manufacturers have put short-action chamberings in a long action but most don't.

I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that the longest ctg the788 was chambered for was the 6mm Remington- a squoze down 7mm Mauser.
