RMGO Loses Tax Exempt Status
For failure to file with IRS for three consecutive years. They have trouble with the state of CO too.
http://www.denverpost.com/breakingne...e-irs-could-be Quote: Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, the state's most strident gun-rights group, lost its tax-exempt status last year after failing to file with the IRS for three straight years. .......................................................................................................... In addition, the Colorado secretary of state this past May suspended the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners' registration as a "charitable organization" for failure to file timely reports. ...................................................................................................... Brown's tactics over the years have angered his targets, including state Rep. Jim Kerr, R-Littleton, who lost his attempt last year to be appointed to a vacant state Senate seat. He said Brown distorted his gun record. Kerr said it's no surprise that the group would fail to file tax records for three straight years. "Dudley Brown lives in his own universe and thinks he can play by his own rules," Kerr said. "He's reprehensible. The guy's a butt." |

Dudley Brown also runs the National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR), as well as a website called NRAwol. Representatives for those organizations have made a rather poor showing of themselves here in the past, and things have gotten heated.
If we want to discuss them, fine, but let's keep things civil.

My OP was for general information. In the past i've said my piece about Brown and have nothing to add at this time.
