Remington 6.8 SPC

Would appreciate any information on this new cartridge. Am really thinking about getting one and was wondering what feedback I could get from you folks about this round. Thanks

I've never shot a 6.8 SPC, but my brother's police department recently switched to them from .223s, and they like them. I suggested .308s, but he thought those were too powerful.

As for me, I'm perfectly happy with my Marlin 1894C .357Mag carbine. It's enough for me, and a good match for my S&W M60 revolver. To each his/her own.
