SR40 for uspsa?

I'm wanting to try my hand at some competition shooting, probably next year when it warms up. I've already got an SR40 so I'll probably use it at first. What do you guys think of this gun for uspsa? Glock egros just dont work for we, I've shot an XDm 40 and liked it all right but I didn't think it was any better than my ruger. Any thoughts?

Stick with what you have first. Usually USPSA shooters will let you try their guns, so keep an open mind.

Have fun.
