Since my purchase of a Sig P226 I have been needing (wanting) a compact platform for CCW. I bought or paid for a Shield a few weeks ago, now its a waiting game for it to actually get to me. $319 was too low for me to pass up even though I didn't want to pre-pay for one.
Next, I would like an XDs, but that will be awhile unfortunately. I probably should get a .22lr for the range and the wife to get more comfortable with firearms. So I have a list to work on it seems. |

On the handgun short list would be a .22 handgun of whatever flavor trips my trigger at the moment and a 1911 of some unnamed make but in .45 acp.

Hoping to get a SIG Carry Nightmare 1911 in the next couple of months. It will replace my current SIG 1911. Which I have a tenative sale to a good friend. Always wanted a Commander length 1911.

Will probably be another .22lr (a 1911 would be nice). BUT...that RIA 9/TCM 1911 is looking real sweet. That said, if I found a resonable CZ-82... I guess I am not qualified to answer what my next hand gun will be

My next gun will probably be another Glock 23, since Walther went away from the paddle on the PPQ (which meant a mag design change).
Two 9s, two .40s, lots of mags... That covers all of my long term needs.

haltoo--
Those are both fantastic firearms. I hope you're able to find them to buy them. None of my distributors have them for me to order, and we have none in stock at any of our 12 locations. I had today off, and wandered into a competitor to talk to a guy I know who works there. Same deal. All of this is to say: if you find them, don't hesitate.

I've got a S&W 686+ sitting at the FFL right now. Just have to wait a few days until I can bring it home.

After seeing it and handling it at the SHOT Show last month, when it's released, I'll be getting:

STI Trojan in .40 s&w or 45acp. It's been on the list for a long time though.

Something in .357 SIG. Been wanting one for a while. Most likely a Springfield XD, but if I can find a used FNP-357 for a decent price I might go that route.
Of course the Walther PPX looks interesting too though its only in 9mm and .40S&W. Depending on when I actually buy if its out I might get one of those instead. |

No more guns until I reach a personal financial goal.
But then, as it stands today- .40 S&W longslide w/ target sights Single action Colt copy in .44 Special Ruger SR22 if it fits my hand well and I like it (ain't seen one yet)
