what gunsmith schools accept finacial aid

i am trying to get into a smithing class but i cant find one that accepts financial aid
is there any type of actual degree in this field or even a certificate
so far i have found a shooting sports management class at Montgomery community collage but i dont think that it is an actual gun smith class

I would suspect that any of the brick & morter schools would. Try calling their financial aid office.

Remember, it's easiest to get financial aid when you are a full time student.

And depending the school, certificate and degrees are given.

what exactly is a brick and motet school i have tried to look them up but am not finding much even wiki had very very little info

brick and mortar is a school with a building

go figure
i dont think there are any in utah i dont really want to take an online class its hard to learn if you dont get to do it your self but it will get me started i can apprentice after that

"Brick and mortar" is a term that refers to a real school in real buildings (hence the name, since bricks and mortar are construction materials), versus a correspondence (mail/distance learning) or online school (which might be run out of a 8'X10' office with a server).

Any reputable trade school that offers a degree program in any firearms technology field (whether that be an Associate's degree, a Bachelor of Science degree, or a Master of Science degree) will offer (not accept) a financial aid program. Find the school you would like to attend and apply.

Since you are in the intermountain area already, Colorado School of Trades offers a gunsmithing program, as does Trinidad College (CO), and Lassen Community College (CA).

Check the NRA web site. They have links to 4 schools with gunsmithing programs.

As Scroth said TSJC and CO School of Trades both have and except aid.
Trinidad State is a junior college and you can get grants and loans from the gov't.
I went to TSJC back in eighties and guys had students loans and VA .
Or you can pay out of pocket.
