Ok this shotgun is weird !!!

Check this picture. The action is almost like a Frank Wesson tip up type rifle, but the receiver is way different. I'm assuming the front trigger opens the action, and the rear fires it. Anyone seen one of these? For sale on Armslist, and not far from me.

It appears to be a C.S. Shattuck.

Not sure, could be. The Shattuck's I see online, with that type of double trigger, have a heavy groove under the barrel at the receiver end. The Shattuck's with the type of receiver in the picture have different trigger / break open mechanisms. It's just strange.

I have no idea what it is, but I like it.

It would be worth the $220 to me just to figure what those two triggers are about.

The triggers aren't that unusual actually. Shattuck, Frank Wesson, and probably other 's used that setup. The front trigger puts the gun at half cock, and opens "tips" the action. I just haven't seen that trigger setup used with that type of stock and receiver. The seller says that there are no makers marks anywhere. If it is a Shattuck, it's still not worth a lot. Maybe $75 in that condition.

Thanks Noelf2, I was wondering if one of the triggers allowed it to break the action open.
