Login name change?

Would one of the mods be so kind as to change my login name from "frodo527" to my real name, "Dave Markowitz"? I believe this can be done w/o changing my password and (meager) post count.

Thanks!

And you pegged my reason for the name change.

You won't regret it. Using your real name sounds like such a small thing, but it makes it easier to stand up for what you believe and also adds an automatic aura of authenticity to what you say. It'll also make you think a tiny bit more before you post, which is never bad.

Welcome back, Frodo! (Did I mention that people will still call you whatever they feel like?)

I can go for the name change! I no longer work as a firefighter/Paramedic. I'm retired.

Don, I agree. That's why I started using my real name over on THR.

Rich,
I hate to keep this going and start a 'trend' but I am Jessica Wellman on many forums and just plain Jessica on others. TFL was my very first forum and one of my very first internet experiences in general! I was so afraid someone would hunt me down. Now it makes no difference. Let 'em come a huntin'.

Thank you in Advance!
Jessica Wellman please, if it's not too much trouble.

Done.

Funny, I remember when you first registered and was somewhat upset at yourself for entering the wrong name. If I recall, you wanted to be called LadyJ or LadeeJ.

Me too, me too. Tim Whittaker if you please. I like this place and don't mind people knowing who I am. Thank you.

Done.

This is becoming a trend. Can't say I mind at all.

BTW - My real name is in my profile. I'm just kinda attached to this screen name.

Rich,

You nailed exactly why I went to my real name when THR started, and why I asked you to change me from "smithz" here, too.

thanks!

Too funny! I'm just glad someone fixed me. When Dennis Bateman asked me if I was a Disk Jockey I knew I was in trouble from there on out.

Fred-
Lucky Mal got here before me.

I might have misread and changed your name to Michael Moore! A fate worse than death.

Thanks Rich! I sort of answered the King of B.S. in this post. http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...=147460&page=6
No sense repeating myself! I get every morning sucking air so I guess I'm doing just fine!

Likewise, can you change mine from KMKeller to Kirk Keller? Not a huge diff, but enough for me.
