1894C 357 and Williams peep sight

Hi guys, do any of you have experience installing a receiver mounted peep sight on new 1894c (post Remington, not sure of any mechanical differences) 357 and needing to change the front sight as well? I believe Williams is kind of vague as to whether or not I will need a new front sight. If so, the dilemma is that I like the brass bead on my front sight and I don't know if anyone offers a higher front sight with the brass bead and if I install a higher front sight, I'd probably need to get rid of the ghost ring as well, which I don't want to do. Thanks for the help. Any other receiver peep sights that wouldn't force me to change other components?

Have you checked out Skinner sights?
I have them on my Marlin Cowboy 357 and love them.

Did you have to change out the front sight?

Brass/gold bead front sight blades are readily available from several makers in different heights, just to solve problems like that.

However, I'm confused - Why are you asking about mounting a Williams peep sight in one breath and saying you might have to "get rid of" a peep sight in the next (a ghost ring is a large-apertured peep sight) ?

I apologize, the front sight hood is what I might have to get rid of to accommodate a taller front sight

Skinner, std front sight on Marlin: but I may have thinned the skinner a touch on the belt grinder.
