In love with my Ruger!

Shot my new Ruger M 77 Mark II 338 Win Mag topped with a Leupold 4.5-14 scope.
I had read many negative comments about Ruger(after I bought it) and was afraid I made a mistake. Well this baby is a shooter. And what a scope!
I shoot only reloads as I refuse to pay full price for factory ammo. I did still have trouble with about 8 rounds that the bolt would not close on, I think it is the brass as it is once fired in someone elses gun. The rest of the loads shot beautifully and I was shooting quarter sized groups at 100 yards the first time out with it. I plan to get those groups smaller.
Look out Elk!

Ruger 77s are one of the best rifles on the market. Absolutely reliable. The only other rifle I ever say this about is a Mauser 98, and the Ruger 77 MkII is a modern copy of the M98. Enjoy it!

Ruger

Sir;
Ruger lugs have been tested in a hydraulic press and they exceed just about any other tests that I've heard - yea, Ruger is a gem.

Jeremiah,
Only use brass that was fired in your rifle, I have a Old M77 in .308 Win and yes it is a shooter. Once you get some FL sized brass and reload for just your rifle you will see groups tighten up.
