Annie Oakley's Stuff
http://www.businessweek.com/ap/2012-06/D9VAVD500.htm
Heritage Auctions sold a bunch of Annie Oakley's goodies over the weekend, about half a million dollars' worth. It got me to thinking (because things are slow at work today) that if I had a famous ancestor whose stuff I inherited, would I be willing to auction it off? Most of me says no, but there's that little part of me that keeps looking at my 401(k) and thinks that it would be a nice boost. But, since I'm not related to anybody famous (or infamous), it's a moot point. Half a million. Whew.

I've grown up.....
When I was younger I wanted to sell gold that was left to me. Glad I didn't. It really isnt worth that much, but even if it was, rather have it for the memories.
Wish I knew where Grandad's guns went......

Timing is everything !!
It's not a matter of whether you should or not sell, it's a matter of timing and eventually, you have to let go. ....
