I have been loading the 124gr west coast plated bullet with 4.3gr of W231 to an OAL of 1.165 with pretty fair results. I just loaded some with the same load to an OAL of 1.123. My question is do you think this is a safe load and will the accuracy in general be better or worse. I shoot several 9mm handguns.

Thanks

I reload all my 9's to 1.135" regardless of bullet weight.

The load you desribe is my std. 124 grain 9mm load. I use an OAL of 1.125 +/- .005. This load shoots well in my Berettas (FS & C), and Glock 19. A friend shoots the same load from his Ruger 95 with no problems. I have found this to be an accurate and clean load.
