Increased capacity in Buckmark Magazine?
I have a Buckmark Contour 7.25. Great little gun. Very accurate. So I'm looking at the 10 round mags today and it looks like with a little surgery on the plastic follower part it could be closer to a 15 round magazine. Is this possible?

I'm pretty sure the factory knew what they were doing when they designed the gun. If they could have made it reliable holding more, I'm sure they would have.

There's no room to shave the bottom of the follower.
If you shave the top, you'll have to move the cross-pin/retainer and/or cut the mag body. Otherwise, the follower stops before feeding the last rounds. Possible? Yea, probably. Viable? Not in my opinion.

I don't see anything for you on RFC.
An extra magazine seems the logical approach. |

Okay, yeah probably! :-)
Well, I haven't tried to change anything and probably won't. It's not really a matter of needing more capacity, but more like . . . I wonder if this is possible thing.
If I make the attempt I'll let you know how badly I fail or well I succeed. Life is good. Prof Young |

I'm pretty sure that it won't work as well after the modification.
