dpms dcm

I have a new dpms dcm that I am reloading for. The best powder I have used is win 748 using 24 gr and a 69gr sierra match. Some of my manuals say it is a light load. Noslier manual says it is a starting load sierra, says it is just off start and the new annual manual says it is almost max but dosent list a starting load. Is the a safe load? Is it heavy or light??

And they all probably used different guns to come to their different conclusions.

Only you can determine what works for your particular gun.

If 24gr is giving desired accuracy and velocity in your gun, without producing excessive pressure, then that is all that matters.

Winchester says 24.5 is max with a 69 gr SMK

I would look at: http://www.whiteoakprecision.com/info-reloading.htm

This is what Jihn shoots in his Ar's. Keep in mind White Oak rifles have a Wylde chamber which may be different from yours.
