If you had to pick a new 9mm
Looking for actual experience and advice . I'm going to buy one of these 9mm handguns, what say you?
1 Beretta APX 2. Cz p-10 3. Fn 508 Just from those 3 please. I already own most of the others, so thanks! |

Sorry, but going to be a wiseass. You say you own most of the other 9mm handguns, so that means you own hundreds of them. If that is the case, one would think you would know a bit more than you do, and would not have to ask for opinions on which is better.

What are you planning on doing with this gun? What 9mm's do you already own? I've never heard of an FN 508. Did you mean 509?
Personally of those 3 I'd go with the CZ. |

Boy everybody is on the bandwagon, all the cookie cutter striker guns are so similar I'd go in order of importance
1st which fits my hand best 2nd which fits my wallet best 3rd which fits my collection best

Out of the three listed, I'd likely go with the FN because it is quite thin for a double stack. But, it seems the CZ is getting some good reviews.

Considering all the the excellent other well proven pistols out there I would choose none of the above.
If I had to choose one I would go find each to rent and then go with the one that worked best for me. Probably the Beretta APX.

I recently handled the FN 509 and did not care for it. I could have tried it out on the range for free but I was not interested.
Hopefully my next 9mm will be a M&P 2.0. |

I doubt you own "most of the others" of the most crowded market niche in handguns right now.

Ok, to clarify..
I know it's very hard for many to simply answer the question so I'll clarify. Yes, I own 30 other 9mm's. ....smiths, Glocks, Cz, beretta, taurus, Ruger, sits
etc....but I do not own any of the three I listed, but was only seeking information from those of you who actually own one or more and what you think. For the life of me I don't know why these forums find it so difficult to answer the question, but I do appreciate the advice to own guns I already own. This is not a matter of need obviously, just feeding the addiction |

It sounds like you are a collector of 9mm's. Why not buy all three?

If not a P-01 or SP-01 then the plastic CZ...followed closely by a 320 or M&P 2.0

Find a store that has 2 or 3 of them for sale and figure out which one fits you the best, has the sights you prefer, and has the best trigger. If you own 30 other 9mm's you should be able to figure out which one you like the best in less time than it took to write the original post.
I don't trust random people on Internet forums any more then I trust your average gun store clerk. Anyone familiar with Internet forums should realize that if you ask for the opinion on 3 guns will result in at least half a dozen other options thrown out. |

As one who does own a few 9mm's, including a few most of us have never seen and possibly never heard of, I have to wonder here about whether Glockgreat is talking about a using gun or a building a collection. If the former, he should consider picking the one he likes best (and maybe already owns) and then devoting practice time to it, and not to the rest of his collection. If he is simply building a collection, with carry/use a very secondary goal, that is fine and he should buy all three if the budget permits. If he is buying everything, hoping to find the perfect gun, all I can say is "lots of luck."
(As a collector of auto pistols, I settled on my carry gun early on - an S&W Chiefs Special revolver.) Jim |

James k, that was a thoughtful post, thanks. Ultimately, I will buy the one I like best, but was just curious what others thought who already own them. None of these three will ever feel as good as my Cajun works cz75, but that's not the point.

For carry, HK P30SK, for home defense, Beretta PX4 Storm, for range, Sarsilmaz K2P.

So DanPop, I take it you don't own any of the three mention. I already own an he vp9, a beretta px4 and similar cougar, and SAR b6p. And I agree, all great guns even if they aren't part of the question

What are your expectations for the gun? Is it just a range toy? They all seem like fairly plain looking full size plastic duty guns... I'm assuming you already have a dozen of those so what do you want this one to do better than any of those?
Do you already have the Sig 320? That's what the Army chose after looking into the contenders in the same class you are looking at. |

Of only those, P10c. But I would sooner buy a P320, M&P 2.0, or a CZ P-01 Omega.
