Book recommendation, "Packing Iron"

This is one fantastic read! Many high quality photos and just packed with historical information too! Once I got my copy I started reading and couldn't put it down.
If you have any intrest in Holsters, definatelly get this book it's worth every cent! It's available from several sources both new and used. There is much more to it all than just holster styles.
I highlly recommend getting a copy!

ZVP - it IS a GREAT book! I purchased mine off of Amazon.com several years ago and have it on the shelf above my leatherworking bench in AZ. I refer to it often - not only for information but for ideas for new holsters to make. Even if you aren't interested in gun leather to tote your shooting irons in, it's a great read and clearly shows the evolution of the holster, different pattersn, eras, etc.
