Unknown Walther rimfire rifle

Harley,

A buddy called up. He recently acquired a Walther rimfire bolt action single shot target rifle. The only distinguishing feature he could describe was a half-rib that started at the receiver and went about 14" down the barrel. Can you ID this gun from this flawed description?

Gary

Not really. Walther made numerous sngl shot .22 rifles, from plinkers to Olympic quality guns. All markings on the receiver, would be a great help, and a photo would really put the frosting on the cake.
