Savage assembly pro's wanted

Oh darn!
I some how goofed and stuck with a problem. I bought a new Savage 10T with Accu-trigger and Accu-stock. These businesses are continually looking for ways to save a penny. So now the manuals are all on line. I looked at the directions on how to disassemble and reassemble the rifle. Although the bench is not with the computer. So I'm suppose to remember all the steps with ought taking the steps up and down stairs. I'm trying to keep up but its not easy.

So here is the problem. After taking the trigger assembly off the action I must have rearranged the parts to a better looking design. Accidently of course. So when resetting the assembly back into the action and that into the stock. The bolt won't go back into the action. Well now I can't remove the rear receiver screw. That is under the lower bolt release slide. I just am not sure how I got there and can't get access to the assembly until I remove the rear receiver screw.

do we have any Savage pro's out there. Please help

It will be a tomorrow but will see what I can do.

Had my fun with the trigger but never got the receiver screw locked in.

I doubt the assembly instructions are that good anyway

Bottom or top bolt release lever?

It was the bottom bolt slide release.

I ended up taking a ride to through traffic to a reputable gunsmith. It turns out that I had the three position safety in the wrong position. Da I tried the safety but must have been hasty about it. I sure am glad to put that behind me.

Print the manual. Carry it as you walk to the bench. Read it there.

Or take a laptop with the manual saved to a pdf file. At least that what I do. Also use You Tube videos. Makes working on firearms so much easier.

Yep, and the manual is worthless.

Some of the gun smith CDs are a help.

in gunsmithing school we asked how to adjust the savage 99 rotary magazine .Instructors said " Don't touch it "
