Congratulations, that's one beautiful looking First Series Match Target. The elephant ear grips look to be in terrific shape. What year was it made?

Nice.
On a related note, does anyone know where you could buy a spare mag for a 1st model woodsman match target?

thanks.
spare mags are very hard to find, saw one on an auction site, sold for about 120. SN is MT63xx, so either late 1939 or early 1940. one of my projects this year is to make a second set of elephant ear grips for this. never been out of the family, belonged to my grandfather originally. |

That Woodsman variation is my favorite. Very nice family heirloom. I bet it shoots as good as it looks.
