RSG walthe ppk, did i make a mistake?
the other day i went down to the LSG. they had some p38's that just came in. i don't really have a need for one other than i've always wanted one. they were CYQ and the serial no was in the H 400 range. they wanted $569. the urge got the better of me, so i put some money down. then today i went back in, and on the used shelf they had a royal scot guard ppk. that thing is pretty. it looked brand new, but they said it had been fired. i had a hard time telling. i've heard there were only 400 of these. it was numbered 265. so i asked if i could transfer my money over to that gun. they said sure. so i did. the ppk was $30 more. did i make a mistake? or did i do good? i mean that thing was easy on the eyes.

I think I would have done the same thing if I was in your situation.

Agreed. I'd take a PPK over a P38 any day of the week.

You traded a run-of-mill P.38 for an uncommon PP. I think you did OK.

good trade
I would also take a PPK over a P38. And I own a PPK but no P38. Mine is just an ordinary blued Interarms version, but it is a good shooter and very thin, if you wish to carry it.
