new purchase
Hello i have been shopping for a new semi-auto shotgun for a while now. I have decided on the beretta XPLOR light 12ga. 28" barrel. Does anybody out there have any input on the quality before i shell out $1200 bucks.

The light-weight version of the XPLOR has been out less than 6-months and I don't recall reading anything about it here. Most discussions have been around the 3-1/2" chambered XPLORs. It seems most folks either love or hate (especially the green ones) the XPLOR. As with any shotgun, I suggest you get some trigger time before making a final decision.

I have the regular Xplor 400 - it is my wife's gun and has been flawless.if this is anywhere close, it will be a great gun

Beretta will stand behind their guns ...so I wouldn't have any concern about it mechanically.
Now whether it "Fits" you or not ...is a whole different matter. |

Since these guns are fairly light, I would STRONGLY recommend the version with their Kick Off system
